TEACHING

For adults: I have taught classes, led workshops and given craft talks for the Writers League of Texas, the Writing Barn, and Armadillocon, as well as appearing on numerous panel discussions of writing at SXSW, Comicpalooza, the WLT Agents and Editors Conference, and others. I have taught on topics as diverse as world-building, setting, dialogue, voice, writing fantasy, and more. Contact me below for rates.

For youth: I have taught hands-on in-class workshops at elementary schools and middle schools across the state. Also available for high schools. My editing services include

• First chapter critique and line edit
• Manuscript critique: an analysis of the big-picture strength and weaknesses of your manuscript
• Content or line editing, in which we get deep into the nitty-gritty of your prose
